This policy explains information SOLANA may process when used in a Discord server. SOLANA does not ask for or collect Discord passwords. Discord's own Privacy Policy and Terms apply to Discord's services.
1. Introduction
SOLANA is an independent third-party Discord application. The bot operator provides the bot and maintains its server-side configuration and databases.
2. Information We Collect
When a feature is used, SOLANA may receive Discord user, server, channel, and role identifiers; interaction data; and information a member or administrator submits to that feature. The specific information depends on the enabled features.
3. Discord Information
The bot may process Discord IDs and relevant display names, roles, channel details, and server context to check permissions, route requests, assign configured roles, and display results. It receives information through Discord's bot API when users interact with it or when enabled events are delivered.
4. Information Provided Through Commands
Application, project, promotion, leave, ticket, creator, reward, meeting, Minecraft-linking, and other workflows can process text, choices, links, dates, and other fields submitted by members. Messages or content in AI-enabled channels may also be processed to answer questions or maintain configured knowledge. Do not submit sensitive information that a feature does not need.
5. Server Configuration Data
Server administrators' settings can include the server ID and configured role, channel, category, team name, branding, and feature options. Settings are associated with the server they configure rather than shared across servers.
6. How We Use Information
Information is used to provide the requested bot feature: handle submissions, track statuses, apply configured permissions and roles, deliver notifications, maintain counters, and preserve server settings across restarts.
7. Data Storage
Bot data is stored server-side in configuration and database files used by the bot installation. The bot operator and people with access to that hosting environment may be able to access it. If you use the SOLANA dashboard, the dashboard processes your Discord account ID and server IDs to show servers where SOLANA is installed and verify dashboard access. The dashboard uses a server-side session and does not retain your Discord OAuth access token.
8. Data Retention
Retention depends on the data type and the bot operator's hosting and maintenance. Some settings and records can remain in local database or configuration files until they are changed or deleted by the operator. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period.
9. Data Deletion Requests
To request help with information associated with SOLANA, contact the bot operator through the support server. Include the relevant server and feature, but do not send passwords or authentication codes. The operator may need enough information to identify the record and may be unable to remove information retained by Discord or other services.
10. Data Sharing
SOLANA does not sell user data. Bot data may be visible to server administrators and authorized staff through the bot's configured workflows. Dashboard server information and settings are made available only after server-side permission checks. The bot and dashboard communicate with Discord to function.
11. Third-Party Services
Discord processes data under its own policies. Some bot features may depend on third-party services or integrations; their own terms and privacy policies apply when used.
12. Security
The bot operator takes reasonable steps appropriate to the hosting setup, but no online system or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Bot credentials should be kept private and never shared with users.
13. Children's Privacy
SOLANA is not designed to collect information directly from children. Users must meet Discord's age requirements and any applicable legal requirements.
14. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information. Contact the operator to ask about a request; applicable law and the information available to the operator may affect how it can be handled.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated when bot features or data practices change. The “Last Updated” date indicates the latest revision.
